Christmas is speeding towards us and I am one of many who annually gets stuck with deciding over what to buy for whom.
Therefor my question: do you remember any gift(s) from you previous Christmas celebrations that made you laugh when put to use ? It doesn’t matter what it was (CD, toy, clothing, accessory, you name it), but I am always on the lookout for sth funny, sth heartwearming, something that cheers people up.
Aside from that, I of course also greatfully accept gift suggestions that are NOT related to humor / comedy but are as superb nonetheless .
I also love finding products / gadgets that come in handy, that are very practical to use and facilitate works (e.g. the Swiss army knife) or give comfort (hand-warmers for the winter) – pocket-sized items are the best .
Or even a book that is not related to the NYT best-seller list. I love finding "easter egg books", readings that are not (easily) to be found in any bookstore, contain valueable / surprising information / tips / hints.
To cut a long story short: what christmas gift suggestions do you have that you were thankful for receiving at some point ?
;- ) I am looking for presents for my parents, 2 brothers and one sister . They are all over the age of 16.
Thanks a lot in advance –
wow – you guys rock ! posted 5 minutes ago and already an influx of answers !
thanks, thanks, thanks.
one important detail I forgot to add: I’m just a regular university student over here in Germany so my budget is rather limited, as you can imagine. Looking for low priced items ;- )
Just found on eBay: book "Extraordinary Uses For Ordinary Things" by Reader’s Digest. that’s one of the categories I’m on the look-out for ![]()

Well this one is different! I collect canned foods for the food pantry every year and a couple of Christmases ago we had a small gift exchange & I got this really odd looking package & it was a lid to a garbage pail. (a large lid). Well everyone started laughing, except me, and then one of the guys wheeled in a huge trash can full of canned meats and fruits and veggies. These were all items my friends had collected for me to give to my favorite charity, the Food Pantry! After Christmas donations are always down so these were very much appreciated!! Plus I ended up with a new trash can that I am filling this year with dog & cat supplies for the local animal shelter!
Queen size bed sheet
Lol, the Twilight Series. Haha, Just kidding. Hmm. I’d say maybe a stuffed animal, like a Build-A-Bear.
Sorry, that’s all I got.

In the past i have done secret Santa and needed some gift ideas like you and one of my friends told me about this web site that has all these cool items that make real good gifts. They sale hamburger phones, bacon floss, underwear rugs, pickle bandages, and all kinds of fun things. The prices aren’t too bad either, there are lots of items for 10 and under. Go check out fredflare.com or urbanoutfitters.com. Both are good web sites but i prefer fredflare. Hope this helps I use these two web sites all the time.
haha- We did a kris kringle with our school, and i bought my kris kringle a pair of undies, with her name, stitched on it and then she threw them down the corridoor, and a friend put them in her lunch box.
If you get any of that
