Best Swiss Army Knife/Multitool?

Posted: July 12th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Questions | Tags: , , | 2 Comments »

I’m looking for a Swiss Army Knife or Multitool mainly for use in an emergency (or a pinch) but I wouldn’t mind a few everyday-like features to be included. I’ve been looking at the Victorinox RescueTool which seems awesome but I’m wondering if these same tools cannot be found in another product + more?

Basically if you have had experience with these tools, please let me know which is your favorite and why? Do you prefer something like a Victorinox SwissTool or a Leatherman or a tradional knife? Thanks.

Check out Gerber tools, I’d get one of them over a Leatherman. We’ve had one of each for 7 years, and the Leatherman is falling apart. Maybe we got an irregular one, i don’t know. However, the Gerber looks and works like we just bought it.

    Hope that helps a bit

All sailors use leathermans. Not knock offs. You won’t go wrong. My husband was in the navy for 10 years, and used nothing but. Good luck.
