Me and three other friends were caught breaking the door nob of an abandoned house. What's going to happen?

Me, my boyfriend, and two other friends were trying to distract ourselves from another friend of ours completely using us and betraying us.
As a distraction, the morons we are, we decided to break into an abandoned house just to see if we could. As a distraction. I know. Stupid.
Well, my boyfriend had a box cutter on him. STUPID. He’s not dangerous at all, he just uses it for stuff like someone would use a pocket knife. He also had a flask of margarita mix on him…….-.-
We weren’t drinking, he just had it on him… i wanted to drink, though. I told him to put the stuff in it, and now i feel horrible. I wanted to forget about my backstabbing ex best friend…..
Well, we went to the house, burned batteries>-< and used a pole to break off the door nob to the garage. The property is bank owned and i’m really scared about the bank suing my family because we’re already in financial trouble:(
We broke the door nob completely off…… i was wondering what will happen to us.
All four of us are 16-17 years old.
We’re all good kids. Just stupid. It was our first offense.
like i said, we’re under 18, and we’re in California if that helps.
and what happens to my boyfriend?

You will have to go to court and your parents will have to be there, while the judge will give you a tongue lashing, and probably probation. There may be a fine, and your folks should have their checkbooks with them.

I believe you will be taken to court and will face the penalty for breaking the law. You could face charges like vandalism, trespassing on private property, breaking and entering, underage drinking, disorderly behaviour, brought up on a civil suit to pay for damages, forced to pay court costs and legal fees, a court imposed fine, be given a police record, community service, probation, and possibly be shunned by the community and your family, and hated by your friend for being a horrible friend, but it’s ok if you are stupid as that will give you an insanity defense which will give a chance to think things over in an asylum.

You are most likely to get probation, a fat fine, having to pay for the damages, and probably some community service.

Ask your lawyer to offer the bank and the prosecutor to pay for the damages; the prosecutor might be willing to drop the charges if the property owner is compensated and have no interest in pursuing the case any further.

Your boyfriend might have a little bit more problems for the concealed weapon and the alcohol.
