It is about the girl who dies, but I don’t think she’s murdered. I think the sharp knife is the death of a young person, which cuts even more then any real knife could.
Its asong about sucide cutting with knife or murder I love this song..I cry tho
This is my favorite song. It is about a murder. When it says "who would have thought forever could be severed by a sharp knife of a short life" the girl its talking about was stabbed and killed. when it says "and I’ll be wearing white when i come into your kingdom" the kingdom is heaven. "but it sure felt nice when he was holding my hand" this is when God holds her hand because she is just a little girl when she dies.
