What SOG knife is intimidating and good for self defense?

I want a knife to at least make myself feel better, I realize I would probably get shot anyway. I had a SOG but it fell out of my pocket. I want a new one that’s very intimidating looking and good for self defense. I think switchblades are frowned upon by Ohio law so I guess I should get spring assisted. What models are best? Any other advice? Thanks
A knife that you carry to "make myself feel better" is a talisman, not a weapon. This is not a good self-defense strategy, because it can make you foolhardy and get into situations that are unsafe due to a false sense of security.
That said, knives have their place in your "toolbox" for self-defense, but they have limits: They only do two things, Scare and Kill. You cannot [reliably] use a knife in a non-lethal manner, so if you draw it, you better be damn sure you are justified in using deadly force against a person who is attempting to kill you, not a drunk unarmed frat-boy who is being belligerent. If your not justified in using deadly force and you kill someone, you WILL get charged with murder 2.
In regards to the "scare" part, I myself and many people I know have scared attackers away by brandishing a knife, but type really doesn’t matter. My elderly neighbor got a weightlifter twice his size to back down with his 3" French Opinel pocket knife. Sharp blades are enough, any one who isn’t brain-damaged doesn’t like getting cut with a blade.
I have several SOG knives, and it’s hard to say which would be intimidating the most. However, I think BIG does the job pretty well usually.

The Pentagon Spec-Elite II has 5 inch blade and was designed as a fighter. Could be worth a look.

Get treatment for your paranoia. It’s a really bad idea to rely on your knife looking intimidating. If you need it to save your life, then your attacker should learn you have it when it goes into his gut. If you don’t need it to save your life then don’t go waving it around. You could get it shoved up your ass.
Just get a box cutter. Theyre cheap and effective and u can snap them off if needed. If uve ever had to use a knife then u know u have to throw it out after ur done.
