What would happen if a 15 year old boy got stabbed in the stomach by a 3 Inch pocket knife?

My character Danny is fighting a bully Shane with his friend Rose being held back by another bully Nick while another bully Tyler holds the dog that Danny has with him Cat that just happens to be a police dog. Danny and Shane started really fighting and after Danny gets a few good punches in, Shane yanks out his 3-inch pocket knife and stabs Danny in the stomach with it. After they realize what they’ve done Shane Nick and Tyler run off. Danny stumbles back and falls onto his back and pulls the knife out. Rose screams and drops next to him with Cat that’s whimpering and looking at his owner.
So, I’d like to know what would happen to him?
Best and Worse case, please.
I take this very seriously since this is my story "Unknown But Not Invisible" and I want people to think I know what the hell I’m writing about, you dig?

If he can live, what kind of things would need to happen?
And is he able to talk?
Well, best case scenario, you go to the hospital with a painful stab wound and some stitches, you wouldn’t die, but you would bleed allot unless you covered up the wound tightly with something, like a shirt , you have to put pressure on it though. worst case scenario, the 3inch blade penetrates all the way through his stomach, causing internal bleeding, You wont die, but you would be in the hospital for a long time. Good luck with your story!
He will die a painful death.
Yeah he’s gonna bleed to death. probably hemorrhage his stomach muscles, go into shock, spill his intestines, the whole works.
I’d say have the bully run off with the knife instead of leaving it.
Worst case would be he ends up in the hospital. you don’t want to kill the main character off.
maybe the cat stays with him until someone arrives, or he wakes up in the hospital, cat next to him.
just spitballin here.
uh, you are worried about the knife??? I’d scrap the entire story
