I’m looking for a Swiss Army Knife or Multitool mainly for use in an emergency (or a pinch) but I wouldn’t mind a few everyday-like features to be included. I’ve been looking at the Victorinox RescueTool which seems awesome but I’m wondering if these same tools cannot be found in another product + more?
Basically if you have had experience with these tools, please let me know which is your favorite and why? Do you prefer something like a Victorinox SwissTool or a Leatherman or a tradional knife? Thanks.

I have a Leatherman c33x folding knife and I’ve noticed some darker spots on the blade that looks like rust. The blade is made from 420HC steel, which I thought is supposed to have better corrosion resistance at the expense of its ability to hold a sharp edge for a long time (correct me if I’m wrong). Anyone have some tips on how to easily (and cheaply) remove rust/ prevent it from getting worse?
Thanks in advance!

In your opinion, which is the best Victorinox Swiss Army Knife
model?
And, among the multi-tools (Leatherman, Gerber, Victorinox…) which one do you think is the best?
Thanks!
Take care.
