   i use the corkscrew to undo knots and the occasional bottle of wine the parcel carrier i use to get the pot off the fire when camping fish scaler self explanatory camping just my opinion also i wish it had a light only thing i wish it had

   The parcel hook is actually a tool I want on my SAK. I flatten the inside of the hook and sharpen the point a little and use it for tying and untying cordage. I also use the corkscrew for the same thing. I have to agree with you about that fish scalier, good video!

   WTH is useless about a corkscrew? It’s a CORKSCREW. It’s needed to open wine bottles. What is difficult to understand about that? Very usefull if you don’t live in a cave or up on a tree.

   I would agree with you on corkscrew,but on scaler blade the tip works very good on panfish if hook is to deep.Nice video I collect and use very many types of knives,all knife talk is interesting to me.

   i use the hook to carry bundles of firewood wrapped in wire or plastic netting

   @flytmech Thanks for the feedback–I like your idea about the hook….I always figured the hook had some utility, but just didnt realize it until I saw all these good ideas.

   @knifehunteredc1 It looks like it would work quite well for that function. I sure miss the good ol days when I would find myself panfishing on a regular basis….I need to get back to my roots!!

    Nice review, I also got some good tips from the comments. Re. the light, just get a tiny ultrabright LED like the Photon Freedom micro and clip it to the keyring!

    @robroyman1980 An LED light–somehow incorporat into one of the SAK scales, without adding significant bulk–would be BOSS!!
