Victorinox Swiss Army Trekker

Posted: May 28th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Videos | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , | 25 Comments »

An overview of the Victorinox Swiss Army Trekker. At first glance I wrote this knife off & wasn’t interested, but was swayed by RBcarnuts’ comments on it. This knife packs alot of great features in a single handed opener from Victorinox, yes that’s right they’ve come out with a single handed opener. It opens easily, but if you’re a righty you’ll need both hands to close it. The Trekker cover alot of utility & I’m a fan.

I will have to give this knife some consideration. Rob does a great job with his knife reviews . . . very solid and practical with dependable advice. Great job CampfireTalk! 5/5 my friend.

@USNERDOC You won’t be dissapointed, high value as well. This Trekker also came with a Swiss Army Classic both for under $30 at amazon. I’m not sure how long that deal will be around, but good to know this buy will not break the bank. Thanks my friend

I would prefer no serrations as well. I think I am going to buy one of these. Great video.

Excellent review! Something I liked is at the beginning the action clips, really nicely done. By the way, thanks for the shout out! I appreciate that. I have used my trekker so much since filming my review and have found every tool to be exceptional. Well worth the money in my opinion.

You should check out the 08 soldier’s knife from Victorinox, that’s really nice, though you can’t buy that one in the US, I have sent it to a friend in Colorado and he highly appreciates it!

I’m not crazy about the knife, but great job on the video. Good looking knife, and nice that the blade locks. I just don’t like serrated blades.
